Testimonials
“If you are looking for a photographer who can navigate the chaos of a crowded location with absolute grace, look no further. We had to schedule our session at the Vatican during one of the busiest times of the day... and I was honestly worried the crowds would make it impossible... However, Andrea was a complete professional. Here is why I cannot recommend him enough:
• Expert Crowd Management: Andrea was incredibly patient... politely ensuring we had the space needed to capture our moments without feeling like we were intruding or being rushed.
Melissa
• Keen Eye for Detail: He paid close attention making sure every detail was perfect before clicking the shutter.
• The Perfect Timing: ...He simply waited for the right moments to ensure the photos looked serene and intentional rather than cluttered.
• Highly Accommodating: From the initial scheduling to the actual shoot, he was willing to work around our tight timeline...
The final results are breathtaking. Despite the hustle and bustle of the day, the photos look peaceful and high-end... They both guided us though taking photos and getting video footage including showing photos of poses... and just were so kind, gracious and professional. The edited photos are beyond stunning...”

FAQ
Can a private photographer take pictures of us DURING the Papal Audience inside St. Peter’s Square?
No. External photographers are strictly prohibited from entering the reserved Novelli Sposi newlywed seating area during the audience. Official event photography during the ceremony is managed exclusively by accredited Vatican media services. Our private portrait session takes place immediately before or after the official event to capture high-end artistic portraits around Vatican City.
What happens if the Papal Audience runs longer than scheduled?
Papal Audiences usually wrap up by 1:00 PM, but timing can vary slightly. We structure our 2:00 PM afternoon session with built-in buffer time so you can leave the square, refresh, and meet comfortably without feeling rushed.
How do we manage personal bags, coats, or shoe changes during the shoot?
For standard 1-hour Vatican sessions, keeping personal belongings light is best. Many brides bring a small tote for comfortable walking shoes between shooting spots. For 3+ hour extended sessions using a private driver (NCC), your driver safely holds extra garments, coats, and footwear while we walk.
Can we explore locations further away from the Vatican during our session?
Yes, if your chosen package provides longer coverage. For extended sessions, we can include scenic routes like Janiculum Hill or Fontana dell’Acqua Paola. These spots require a short taxi ride from the Vatican, providing panoramic skyline views and historic backdrops removed from the immediate city traffic.
How will we meet with the photographer?
After confirming your shoot details, we will meet directly near Bernini’s Colonnade at St. Peter’s Square at your designated time to begin your session effortlessly.
When and how many pictures will I receive?
- Standard Delivery: Full gallery of retouched, high-resolution digital images delivered within 1 month of your shoot date.
- Expedient Delivery: Option to receive 5 to 10 preview images on the same day, with your full retouched gallery expedited within 2 weeks or less.
What are the payment options?
In order to book and reserve an advance payment of 30% is needed payable by credit card through PayPal or Stripe. The balance payment is payable in EURO cash to the photographer on the day at the end of service or by PayPal +6% payment transfer fee on the day or on a later date and before final image delivery.
