What an Amazing Proposal in Rome!
A wonderful proposal photoshoot in Rome was about to unroll near the Roman Colosseum. Starting off as a couple photo shoot in Rome only to turn into a beautiful and romantic wedding proposal when we had everything perfectly set up in terms of light, framing and posing! A one of a kind moment in a one of a kind location. Perfectly captured by our proposal photographer in Rome! And after the faithful yes! We celebrated by popping open a fresh sparkling Prosecco bottle overlooking the beautiful scenery.
Then after enjoying the drinks and taking some nice engagement photos. We moved over to a small cobblestone alleyway with the Colosseum in the background. Where we had prepared a Piaggio Liberty scooter waiting to be used as prop. Here we had a lot of fun taking pictures while trying different poses. It wasn’t so straight forward as we had to sometimes dodge some of the people walking past. But overall I think we got some great shots!
Engagement photoshoot
From the Roman Colosseum we decided to move over by car to the Spanish steps with the intend to shoot there and at the nearby Parco del Pincio in the Villa Borghese gardens. Choosing the Spanish steps in spring is great because the central part of the large staircase is used to hold beautiful spring flowers in vases. A great way to add colors to the pictures and to minimize the impact of people in the background. As the city is waking up to the warmer weather and more visitors start to come in.
So we took pictures underneath Church Trinità dei Monti right in front of the flower vases. And on our way down the steps all the way down to the Barcaccia water fountain. The difficult part here after the photography is getting all the way up the top of the staircase made of 138 steps! Then after catching breath we hopped back into the car to head over to Villa Borghese.
The view from the Pincio terrace was just breathtaking and made for some really fine couple pictures. And the breeze from up is always very nice especially on a warm spring summery day!
