Capturing a Surprise Proposal: Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps

There’s a unique stillness to Rome just before the city fully awakens. Meeting in the early hours of the morning. When the usual clamor of crowds is replaced by the gentle, rhythmic sound of water cascading over the travertine stone of the Trevi Fountain. When we met by the fountain we casually headed for the water basin. So as to prepare to toss a coin. Then the kneeling moment. And the expression of joy and wonder filled the air. Our destination was the iconic Spanish Steps (Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti). Before ascending the steps, we paused for a quick coffee at a nearby bar. We then made our way to the staircase, which offers one of the most beautiful vantage points in the city. The history and architecture of this significant roman landmark is truly fascinating.

Lasting Memories on top of the Steps

We concluded the morning photoshoot on top of the staircase. Just as the sun started to rise above the buildings. Offering a clean and elevated view over the city.
