Rome Wedding Photo ession

By 12 June 2025Rome, Wedding

Bride and groom preparations

The wed photo session began inside a hotel suite in central Rome. Morning light filled the room as hair and makeup took place. The preparation remained quiet and focused. Once ready, we stepped into a hired black car waiting just outside together with the wedding photographer. The city moved slowly as we drove toward Janiculum Hill, one of the highest panoramic spots in Rome. From the top, Saint Peter’s Dome was visible through the soft haze of morning where we began with an initial photo set.

Then we moved to the Fontanone water fountain. Formally known as Fontana dell’Acqua Paola. Its large stone façade and cascading water created structure and depth. We took several picture frames before moving our way into the city center. The route passed through quieter streets before opening into Piazza Navona. This part of the session unfolded with a different rhythm. The square, though busy, offered a natural openness. Baroque architecture and sculptural fountains added contrast to the simple movement of the couple through the space.

Afterward, we stepped into nearby side streets, where the pace changed again. The session moved into Via Margutta, a narrow cobblestone alley tucked behind the main roads. Ivy climbed along aged walls, and shutters hung slightly open above the street. This area allowed for more intimate waking shots.

Some shots focused on texture—the uneven stones, the shadows between buildings. Others captured stillness mid-motion. A mix of color and black and white images completed the sequence. Without additional direction, the last few moments came together naturally.

As the light began to shift, we wrapped up the session at the far end of the alley. The Rome photoshoot closed with a final image framed by soft light and Roman detail.
