Capturing Rome in Family Portraits
From the Roman Pantheon to the Trevi Fountain
When it comes to capturing lasting memories, there’s nothing quite like family portraits in Rome. With its mix of historic landmarks, vibrant piazzas, and romantic streets, the Eternal city offers endless opportunities for beautiful family photos in Rome. We began this photo session at the magnificent Roman Pantheon, wound its way through the heart of the city, and culminated at the iconic Trevi Fountain. Along the way, we captured the essence of visiting the city together while highlighting some of the most breathtaking sites!
Starting at the Pantheon: A Historic Beginning
The shoot started at the Pantheon, a landmark steeped in history and grandeur. This ancient temple, with its towering columns and majestic oculus, provided the perfect dramatic backdrop for the portraits. Starting in the early morning before the opening of the Pantheon. Allowed the piazza in front of the Pantheon to be free of people, giving the photos a relaxed, candid feel. Capturing nice portraits against the historic stones of the Pantheon was the perfect way to begin the session!
Strolling Through Piazza Montecitorio
From the Pantheon, the photographer session continued by strolling through Piazza Montecitorio, a picturesque square with an intriguing mix of Baroque architecture and lively Roman energy. The scenic portico gallery added a distinctive touch to the background of the photos. We walked through the square, stopping to admire the unique blend of old and new, while the photographer captured moments along the way.
A Stop at Galleria Alberto Sordi
Next, the photo session moved to Galleria Alberto Sordi, a striking example of Rome’s elegant, early 20th-century architecture. The glass-domed ceilings and intricate tile floors added a refined and artistic flair to the picture portraits. The natural interactions in this vibrant yet intimate setting made for some truly captivating shots. And a great place to get a coffee and chat after the photos!
Finishing at the Trevi Fountain: A Grand Finale
The session concluded at the Trevi Fountain, one of Rome’s most iconic and romantic spots. As we tossed coins into the sparkling waters, symbolizing their wish to return to Rome, the photographer captured the joy and laughter shared between them. This timeless landmark was the ideal location to wrap up the memorable day!
