Inside the Colosseum: the moment unfolds
We met with the photographer in incognito just outside the Colosseum early in the morning. We moved quietly through the arches together, avoiding the rising crowds. After a brief exchange of signals, we entered inside and headed upward. We kept the surprise intact as we climbed to the upper ring. The light felt balanced in that space. At that point, history surrounded us while the planned proposal took shape naturally. Distant voices faded as we reached the chosen spot. Then the question was asked and the pause felt longer than it really was. The answer arrived with visible emotion. The atmosphere shifted instantly with joy and relief!
After the yes: moving through the space
Soon after, introductions were made and the tension disappeared. From there, we continued with an engagement session. We moved slowly along the ring and explored repeating arches as a graphic background. Next, we descended to ground level where the scale felt more intimate. The images changed rhythm as light and texture shifted with every step. Finally, we stepped outside near the Arch of Constantine to close the session. The contrast between open space and ancient stone completed the story naturally.
