What a spectacular surprise wedding engagement in Italy! Choosing Palazzo Bovolo Contarini in San Marco as the location to ask the big question! Meeting with the photographer directly on top of the stairs before an absolutely striking city view from above. Not an easy climb especially in high heels. But the effort in the end was absolutely worthwhile! And when the moment came around great joy and happiness prevailed! Wonderful feelings which carried us through all the engagement pictures which followed in other parts of the city.

After documenting the engagement promise and catching breath from the great surprise. We took some more nice couple portraits in this one of a kind location. Continuing to take engagement photos also on our way down. Including some nice silhouette portraits on the tower stairs. And at the ground level with the staircase in the background. Then we made our way inside the ins and outs.

Heading for the Rialto bridge and Canal Grande. Where we took some awesome photos in nice golden light! Starting by the gondola docks with the Rialto bridge in the background. Then making our way on top of the bridge to get a unique view over Canal Grande. Including photos of the stunningly beautiful engagement ring! Ending the engagement photo shoot on the other side of Rialto bridge to get a different perspective.
