The Roman Colosseum and the nearby quarters
What a fabulous family photography session! Starting at the Roman Colosseum which represents the most iconic image of the capital city of Italy. An undoubtedly architectural marvel found in the center of the city. Best viewed from above by the Oppian hill. This is where we began taking our pictures. One of the most fun and memorable things to do with kids when travelling. Shooting from a more privileged view and away from the main crowds. With the possibility of being able to frame the whole structure and shoot up close photography.
Then we took a walk to reach a nearby cobblestone alleyway. Which has the Coliseum as the perfect background. Here we took some walking group photos. Before visiting the Monti quarter. Which is a short 5-10 min walk from the Coliseum. And which provides some truly authentic roman views. Among old street corners and a doorways that an experienced local local photographer knows! Including some fun picture while drinking from a street water fountain!
