Surprise in Sorrento by a wedding proposal

What a once in a lifetime moment in a once in a lifetime location! A beautiful proposal over the Sorrento coastline took place on the scenic Sorrento coastline at the elegant Hotel Bellevue Syrene. The property sits directly above the sea and offers panoramic terraces overlooking the coast. Because of this position, it creates a naturally dramatic backdrop for important moments like this one.

The surprise was carefully organized to happen during dinner on the terrace. The table faced the sea, while the photographer was positioned discreetly at a distance in order to capture the moment candidly. As the evening progressed, he proposed right at the dinner table with the Sorrento coastline stretching below.

After the faithful yes, there was a short moment to enjoy the surprise before the photographer approached the couple. Much joy and excitement followed, and once the moment settled. We continued with a few photographs around the property.

Engagement photoshoot

The engagement photoshoot began on the terrace just below the restaurant area. This space has a truly unique view across the Sorrentine coast and provided the perfect setting for the first portrait photographs.

Afterwards we stepped into the inner courtyard where several architectural elements created beautiful backdrops for the engagement photoshoot over the coast. Classical columns framed the space. While a colorful bar and an inviting open-air living room with outdoor couches added variety to the scene.

In addition, decorative ceramic tiles around the courtyard worked perfectly as background for a few engagement ring photographs. These small details helped create different images without moving far from the original location.

Lastly we returned to the dinner table where the proposal had taken place. A few final photographs were taken there, celebrating the engagement with a glass of sparkling wine while overlooking the Sorrento seaside coast.
