Surprise proposal photographed at the Coliseum

The surprise wedding proposal

A stunning wedding proposal photographed at the Colosseum in Rome Italy.  I came a little earlier and as I was waiting I saw this roman centurion in the far distance.  The marked contrast between the red figure and the ancient monument was just calling me to take the photo!   Later I met with Charlie & Kate and followed them around the Colosseum.   The proposal worked out in great surprise and I was able to take good pictures of it from a concealed view point.  Afterwards we met and introduced ourselves and an engagement photo session started.

Pre wedding photoshoot in Rome

We had a car service waiting for us to take us around the city. But before leaving we photographed the Colosseum from a high point.  Then we moved over to Piazza Trinita’ dei Monti and Piazza di Spagna where we continued our photo shoot.  The Gianicolo water fountain was next with crystal blue green water and a sweeping view of the Roman skyline. Our last stop was the Pantheon where we found a wonderful cone of light shinning through. A very photogenic couple. The wedding pictures are going to be great. Congratulations!
