The picture idea
It was great to have met Casey and Brandon on their stop in Rome. We started photographing at the Vatican underneath the stunning columns that enclose the beautiful Saint Pete’s square. There was a fantastic light shining sideways through the columns. Great colors and contrasts.
The metro line
We used the metro to get to the next places which gave us a wonderful chance to photograph the everyday Rome with a photojournalism style photography. We quickly emerged directly in fashionable Piazza di Spagna right in front of the Spanish steps. Sunlight was really coming down as a premonition of the forthcoming summer. A quick stop for water and on our way to Piazza Fontana di Trevi. The photo with the angel came from a quick glance to the right “hey wouldn’t that make a great photograph”. A least a great stop to change batteries and touch up make-up a little bit and hide away from the sun for a while.
The bright red vespa
On our way forward we then ran into this wonderful bright red vespa which was too tempting to overlook for a quick photo. After photographing at the Trevi fountain we moved onto the Roman Coliseum for the last pictures before resting a little bit on the green grass. Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your engagement in Rome!
