Fontana di Trevi
The starting point in Rome
That’s where we decided to start. Underneath the beautiful water fountain. The place can be a little crowded but it is certainly a breathtaking location. So we moved our way down to the water edge and began the photography session. For a moment we had the place to ourselves so I moved up to higher level and photographed from above. Giving a good overview of the fountain. Before heading out we took an interesting pictures by the Benetton store window.
The walk around town
As we were heading out to the Roman Colosseum we walked through Piazza del Quirinale. Stopping for some pictures overlooking Saint Peter’s Cathedral in the distance. Then we deviated a little bit to stop over Chiesa dei Santi Domenico e Sisto to use as background. I find this Church to be truly inspiring and certainly worthwhile photographing.
It started to rain
At one point it started to rain but it wasn’t so bad. So we used our umbrellas to take cover. Turning a rainy day into an interesting and romantic photographic opportunity. We then took cover underneath a stunning hotel shooting images in the hall. Our last destination was the Roman Colosseum where rain turned into sun! Wish you all the best and hope these pictures can make for great anniversary gifts!
